Tend - Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Tend is a personal task app for iPhone. This policy explains how Tend handles your information. The short version: Tend keeps everything on your device and collects nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. Tend has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no servers. We do not collect, receive, see, or store any of your information.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you create in Tend — your tasks, groups, notes, and completion history — is stored only on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device storage. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, because Tend makes no network connections of its own.
No tracking, analytics, or advertising
Tend contains no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. Tend does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not ask to track you across other apps or websites.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders in Settings, Tend schedules local notifications on your device so iOS can remind you when a task is due. These reminders are created and delivered entirely on your iPhone — no reminder information is sent to us or over the internet. Reminders are off until you choose to enable them, and you can turn them off at any time.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone (through iCloud Backup or a computer), that backup is managed by Apple and may include Tend's on-device data as part of your overall device backup. This is Apple's backup mechanism, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy — Tend itself does not send your data anywhere.
Children's privacy
Because Tend collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. Tend is suitable for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update it on this page and revise the date above. Because Tend collects nothing, we do not anticipate material changes.
